Salud's Pancit Pinagulong--THE ORIGINAL

Salud's Pancit Pinagulong is a freshly made "miki" with NO preservatives topped with vegetables and Lechon Kawali. When I was a little girl, I enjoyed watching our cook whenever he bakes the homemade noodles. It's fun and easy according to him but the recipe remains to be a secret.

A lot of panciterias within the area of Marikina serve Pancit Pinagulong but the noodles are absolutely different. It's the one you can buy from the supermarket. Well, what can I say--Salud's Panciteria has the ORIGINAL. You can't find it anywhere but here.

Short order costs Php 120.00 (good for 2-3 pax) while bilao prices range from Php 200.00 to Php 750.00.

TRY it...you'll definitely LOVE it! 10 stars for this quencher!

Heaven Yzabelle on the Spot

Before she reached her 1st year, she began uttering some words like mama, papa, no more, etcetera. She knew how to read as early as four. That's how smart my Heaven Yzabelle is! She was a shy preschooler though. During her first few months at the OB Montessori, Marikina School of Pagsasarili, she was timid and never mingled with classmates. But eventually, because of the non traditional way of the said school way of teachings, she developed her confidence. Now, you can't stop her if she wants to sing, dance, read, talk or play. She even got accelerated from Nursery to Prep. A couple of months back, I was surprised when she was able to memorize and recite a very long prayer that was assigned to her for their family day. I was so proud of her!

To all the moms out there who are thirsty for their children to learn a lot of skills and have the right attitude, you may want to try such school.

Kudos Yzabelle!

LAPU LAPU..love it!

My hubby is a fish lover! He can even get rid of a fish bone stuck on his throat for just a few seconds. One of his faves is lapu lapu...sweet sour, fried or steamed.

Salud's Panciteria offers this high end dish for a very affordable price. And the taste?? Ohhh, you'll never know where you came from afterwards.

I'll give 10 stars for this thirst quencher!

"Mg Inasal...Hahanap hanapin mo nga ba?"

Food is good...but ventilation is terrible! Make sure you are heading home right after, otherwise, you''ll smell like whatever you ate. (LOL)

"EAT ALL RICE YOU CAN!" That is one more thing good about the place. Crews are roaming aroud to serve rice...you don't have to look for them...they are just right there!

I'll give 7 stars out of 10 for this thirst quencher!

Home of Pancit Pinagulong

SALUD'S PANCITERIA is a family owned business since 1968. It started with a small window to tap the cravings of marikenos who loved pancit specifically "miki." One time, friends of the owner, Salud Mendoza, came over and requested for their fave--"pancit miki na ginulong sa kawali"--. It was then that the famous noodle was named PINAGULONG. Everything else was history.
